A leading production nursery, Quality Plants & Seedlings grow a diverse range of plants including certified organic vegetable seedlings, indoor plants, succulents, fruit trees, ornamentals and they also have mushrooms and hydroponics. Vaughan's Australian Plants
Rare and unusual boutique natives
Nestled in Pomonal, Vaughan’s Australian Plants is run by Phillip Vaughan and is renowned for its incredible range of improved and grafted native varieties—including grevilleas, hakeas, banksias and rare shrubs—carefully selected to thrive in dry, Australian conditions. The nursery is a go-to destination for gardeners after unusual, high-quality specimens backed by Phillip’s expertise and a dedication to long-lasting, climate-wise gardening.

Indigenous Plant Nursery
Based in Balliang at the foothills of the Brisbane Ranges, Birds in the Bush Nursery specialises in growing indigenous plants to order, with each seedling carrying its provenance so you know it’s locally adapted. Run by Robert and Nina with deep roots in Landcare, the nursery supports projects big and small—helping create habitat, restore landscapes and bring native birdlife back with tough, drought-tolerant plants perfectly suited to the region.

Bringing traditional knowledge and modern science together, Vasili’s Garden is all about growing the natural way. Their much-loved range includes organic fertilisers, soil conditioners and natural pest solutions—like Liquid Gold, Eco Booch, Black Grit and Citrus Gall Wasp Spray—that help gardeners build healthy soil, strong plants and abundant harvests.

Micro flower farm
Just over an hour north of Melbourne in Lyonville, Fleurs de Lyonville is a family-run micro flower farm nestled beside Wombat State Forest. Janae and Chris Paquin-Bowden cultivate an enchanting blend of cottage favourites and Australian natives using organic, regenerative practices—like no-dig beds and wildlife habitats—to reflect the region's beauty naturally. Their fresh, bee-friendly blooms grace farmers markets, weddings, bouquets-on-subscription and thoughtfully curated events, all rooted in sustainability and community.

Botanical and Lavender Farm
Nestled in the Eastern Macedon Ranges, Chintin Botanicals is a family-owned lavender and botanicals farm dedicated to regenerative farming, producing exquisite culinary-grade essences and native flavours—including award-winning lavender oil, artisan honeys, flavoured salts and botanical-infused delights. Their hands-on distillation workshops and immersive farm-based events—from damper making to farm tours—invite visitors to explore flavour, aroma and the art of growing with heart.

Duck Duck Pig
Truffle and Cut Flower Farm
Just outside Bacchus Marsh, Duck Duck Pig is a small family farm growing truffles and seasonal flowers alongside a herd of grass-fed Angus cattle. With a focus on natural rhythms and sustainable farming, they bring together the rich flavours of truffles, the beauty of fresh blooms and the quality of ethically raised beef—celebrating the land and its seasonal abundance.

Three generations of winemaking
St Anne’s Winery is a family-owned producer crafting award-winning wines from vineyards across Victoria, with sites in Myrniong, Bendigo, Echuca and the Murray region. From crisp whites and bold reds to renowned fortifieds, their wines reflect both tradition and place, all showcased at their historic bluestone cellar door in Myrniong.

Beekeepers
Based in Diggers Rest just northwest of Melbourne, Bee Responsible is run by Rebecca and Shane Light—a horticulturist and a financial adviser—and combines their passion for nature with community care. They produce pure, unheated raw honey, beeswax wraps, candles and lip balm straight from their hives, championing bee health alongside swarm collection and mentorship programs. With a focus on education, sustainability and connection, they’re helping people understand why bees matter and how to support them in everyday life.

Millbrook Free Range Co.
Free ranges and roaming free
Nestled just outside Ballarat, Millbrook Free Range Co. is a family-run farm where a healthy flock of free-roaming hens produces fresh, nutrient-rich eggs. With plenty of space to scratch, roam and forage, the hens are cared for with respect and in turn deliver eggs with true farm-fresh flavour—bringing quality and integrity from paddock to plate.

Sustainable Coffee Roasters
Karon Farm Coffee is a boutique, family‑owned roastery creating award‑winning, freshly‑roasted blends and single origins—like the bold Mount Buninyong, spiced Morning Habit, and rich Orgánico. They deliver direct to homes, cafes and markets across Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh, Geelong and beyond, and their dedication to coffee education, tasting, and community invites everyone to savour a cup crafted with ethical sourcing and a whole lot of heart.

Hand-crafted cheeses
Inspired by a cheese-shop visit in England, Nardia (a microbiologist) and Andrew (a food technologist) returned to Ballarat in 2005 with a mission to create local artisan cheeses. Based on volcanic soils and rich pastures of the Central Highlands and Western District, they make small-batch fresh, brie-style, blue-vein, semi-hard and hard cheeses using milk from single-herd Friesian Holstein and Jersey cows—picked up straight after milking and crafted that day into flavours that truly reflect the land.

Preserving horticultural heritage
Set against the historic backdrop of Werribee Park Mansion, this volunteer-run orchard is reviving rare 1870s fruit trees—think apples, pears, quinces, plums and more—through education, propagation and community care. With regular meet-ups for pruning, grafting and orchard maintenance, plus fruit tree sales and workshops, they’re bringing both history and orchard skills back to life in a hands-on, locally rooted way.

Located in Blampied near Daylesford, Overwrought Garden Art is a family‑owned studio transforming steel into elegant, hand‑crafted pieces—from gates, screens and furniture to whimsical wildlife sculptures and garden stakes. David Dawson blends traditional blacksmith techniques with contemporary design across a charming gallery, sculpture garden and workshop, creating artworks that are proudly Australian made and built to last
